Our Services
We offer services ranging from General Medical exams, annual physicals, obstetrics and prenatal care up to 20 weeks, walk-ins, women and men’s health, child health care, baby checks, complex care, health surveillance including cancer screening, elderly care and seniors home visits.
Walk-Ins
Walk-ins are welcomed. However our booked appointments are prioritized and will strive to accommodate walk-ins based on physicians availability. We advise you call the clinic before visiting.
Annual Physicals
Periodic annual physical examination is recommended as a health screening measure, particularly important in patients with chronic health conditions. It also includes health surveillance and cancer screenings.
Complex Care
Our clinic have trained physicians who are able to help patients manage their long term chronic illness, by providing educational tools and suggesting treatment goals, including offering referrals when appropriate.
Elderly/Senior Home Visits
Physicians at our clinic all provide scheduled home visits to our elderly patients at specified seniors facilities on a weekly basis.
Health Surveillance
Acadia Medical Clinic prides itself in providing a thorough and well-rounded approach to health. From the moment you walk through the doors into our office, you will experience a sense of well-rounded healing.
Obstetrics/Prenatal Care
We offer prenatal care to our expectant mothers up to 20 weeks of pregnancy and provide referral for continued care.
Baby Checks
We offer baby checks from 1 week old to 36 months.
Child Healthcare
Acadia Medical Clinic offers child health care exam to children from newborns to teenage age group. This helps to monitor different stages of developmental milestone and provides an opportunity to screen for health concerns.
Women’s Health
Women presents with variety of health issues from changes to their menstrual cycle, breast problems, body image and wellness concerns. Come see our doctors to discuss this.
Men’s Health
Men can express their concerns to our physicians regarding issues relating to Libido, erectile dysfunction or any specific problems pertaining to to their health , including wellness check.

We also offer additional services including Botox for chronic migraine, joint injections, IUD and PAP exam, minor procedures including excision of lumps and skin lesions and travel vaccine.

Botox for Chronic Migraines
Botox injection is approved by health Canada for treatment of chronic migraine. For people who suffer chronic migraine, Botox injection has been found to significantly reduce the frequency and intensity of chronic migraines. The clinic can assist with arranging for drug coverage.
IUD
Long term contraceptive options including an IUD insertion is offered in our our clinic. There are 2 types of IUD, Copper and the hormonal. Patients will be counselled on best method for their individual needs. Most drug plans have coverage and a prescription is required prior to the procedure.
PAP
We also provide scheduled pelvic and PAP examinations to screen for cervical cancer and STD. If your primary physician is male, you are welcome to book your PAP & pelvic exams with our female doctor on request.
Joint Injections
Limited cortisol injection therapy is provided by some of our physicians to inflammatory conditions of the shoulder, elbow and knee joints.
Lump/Bump Removal
Excision of skin lumps, wart treatments and variety of skin lesion.
Travel Vaccines
We provide travel consult including full range of travel vaccines. Please contact clinic for further details.
Disability/Insurance Forms
We will help you with the process of getting and working through the appropriate disability and insurance forms for your needs.
Driver’s Medical
We perform routine medical exams to ensure that you are able to drive according to provincial guidelines.
WCB Services
Acadia Medical Clinic is committed to expediting a return to work policy to ensure the unnecessary loss of work time. We provide disability management services specifically for occupational injuries, with specific emphasis on immediate (i.e. same day services). We are knowledgeable with WCB processes. Feel free to contact our management team to facilitate a specific clinic to company relationship. This will ensure a direct affiliation with your company and your employees. We will commit priority bookings for work related injuries.
